The Jordan Football Association (JFA) has agreed a three-year extension to its sponsorship deal with PepsiCo-Jordan.

The beverage giant first partnered with the JFA in 2009 and has renewed its sponsorship of the JFA’s activities, as well as youth competition the PepsiCo Football League for the Gifted and national teams, which fall under Pepsi’s support of the Prince Ali Centers. The Centers are backed by FIFA vice-president and president of JFA, HRH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein. The sponsorship also positions the Pepsi and Aquafina brands as the official beverages for JFA and the national teams.

PepsiCo-Jordan general manager Nidal Hamam said: “Our longstanding partnership with JFA has yielded proud results, most notable of which is the success of the PepsiCo Football League for the Gifted in motivating talented football players to develop their skills and gain a competitive edge. We are confident that the upcoming matches will be very exciting and highly competitive, and we hope that they will spur the rise of new up-and-coming stars who can positively impact Jordanian football.”

JFA secretary general Khalil Al-Salem added: “PepsiCo-Jordan has proven itself as a staunch supporter of youth and their interests, particularly in the area of sports. This year, we look forward to reaching new heights of success and unveiling fresh athletic talent across the Kingdom.”
