Internazionale has agreed a two-year extension to its partnership with ‘top sponsor’ Oknoplast.

The Polish PVC window and door manufacturer first partnered with Inter in December 2011, marking its first venture into the football market. The new deal will ensure it remains tied to the Serie A giant until the end of the 2014-15 season. As part of Oknoplast’s sponsorship of Inter, the company’s logo is displayed at the San Siro stadium in Milan, the club’s training ground and its official website, along with on promotional and marketing information and in corporate hospitality.

“This is a significant investment,” said Oknoplast president Mikolaj Placek. “But we have decided to continue thanks to the excellent return on image we’ve seen over the last two years. We’ve become a key player on the European market thanks to working with such a prestigious partner. Our sales network has greatly expanded and we have new commercial partners, who consider our sponsorship of Inter a display of the company’s strength and potential. We’ve also seen growing interest in Oknoplast products from consumers, not only in Italy but also abroad.”

Oknoplast has operated in Italy since 2007 and with 500 sales outlets and more than 50 dedicated showrooms has become one of the market leaders, ending 2012 with an 11% increase in sales compared with the previous year. The company is joined in Inter’s top partner portfolio by BPM, TIM, Trentino and Volvo.
