The Bavarians have been in impressive form so far this season and currently sit at the summit of the Bundesliga table, and have also qualified for the knock-out stages of the Champions League on top of their group.
"Bayern Munich have never before in its history played this kind of modern and attractive football," the 67-year-old said at a press conference.
"A coach always needs some time to transmit his football philosophy and his ideas. I've been in charge for one-and-a-half years now and things are starting to bear fruit.
"The fact that my contract expires in the summer will not affect the way I work, regardless of what will happen at the end of the season."
Bayern are currently preparing for the first match after the winter break against Greuther Furth on January 19.
