Ingwe were chasing for the signature of the Burundian, who sparkled for his country in the just concluded Cecafa Senior Challenge held in Nairobi, Kenya
Burundian sensational winger Abdoul Razak Fiston has joined Sofapaka thus beating off AFC Leopards’ for the signature of the winger.
Ingwe were chasing for the signature of the Burundian, who sparkled for his country in the just concluded Cecafa Senior Challenge but the money bells at Batoto ba Mungu seem to have rung louder for Fiston.
Sofapaka have as well secured services of Fiston’s Burundian team mate Celestine Habonimana, both on two year deals. Sofapaka owner Elly Kalekwa has told Goal that they are still in chase for four more players to wind up their transfer business.
“These are two players whom we really looked at keenly and decided to get their services. I am happy that they have agreed to join us and have both signed their contracts. We want to have the strongest team next year and signing these two players is testimony that we mean business.
“We have four other players whom we are hoping to finalize with before the New Year. We have one more foreigner and three local players whom we are nearing agreements with. Hopefully we can finish that before we start our pre season training.”
Sofapaka will start their pre-season training on January 6, and they will be in their new home, Machakos Municipal Stadium.
