The former Gor Mahia and Sony Sugar goalkeeper reveals to Goal that he has agreed on personal terms to join Ingwe ahead of 2014 season
Sony Sugar goalkeeper Wycliff Kasaya says he has already agreed personal terms with AFC Leopards’ to join them next season.
Kasaya revealed the only thing remaining is for the two clubs to agree on the transfer terms before he can move.
“I have personally agreed on my terms with Leopards and just waiting for the two clubs to reach an agreement to allow me to move. Otherwise, it is a done deal,” Kasaya told Goal.
“I know it will not be easy for me to walk in and get a starting role because AFC have good goalkeepers in Martin Musalia and Patrick Matasi. I will fight for the starting role and since we have several tournaments coming up next season…it gives me the opportunity to seize the chance.”
It is understood that Sony Sugar have put a price tag of Sh500, 000 on the influential goalkeeper while Leopards’ are only willing to give Sh350, 000. Kasaya joined Sony at the beginning of this season from Gor Mahia and helped the club reach semi-finals of the GOtv Shield.
