Gor Mahia has parted ways with four players - Ali Abondo, Abbey Natty, Yussuf Juma and goalkeeper Zachary Onyango.
“We are looking at signing their replacements and we have already started talks with our targets. We hope they can join us before the second leg kicks-off,” Gor Mahia secretary General George Bwana told Goal.
Abondo has come under sharp criticism of late from Coach Zdravko Logarusic as well as his assistant John 'Bobby' Ogolla for his approach to games as well as under performance.
He has been with the team for the last one year after joining from Tusker FC.
Yussuf Juma has also not been a good performer for K’Ogalo and he has seen limited appearances in both the league and cup matches.
He has also been a subject of criticism for a great left back who joined Gor Mahia from Thika United in January last year.
Natty’s exit was always seen coming as he has found it tough getting into Logarusic’s good books since joining from Muhoroni Youth in January.
Keeper Onyango who joined Gor Mahia after his contract with Ethiopian top side Coffee Sports Club came to an end, has not played a single match for the team this season.
