Danny Graham is set to sign for Sunderland after they agreed a fee of around £5 million with Swansea City, Goal.com understands.
The striker returned to the north-east on Wednesday night after being involved in Swansea’s goalless draw against Martin O’Neill’s team on Tuesday.

However, Swansea have finally relented and Graham is poised to undertake a medical with the Black Cats and complete the formalities of a move to the Stadium of Light.
Graham had been holding out for a move to boyhood club Newcastle United after learning of interest from Alan Pardew last week.
But, as revealed by Goal.com on Monday, the 27-year-old had settled on Sunderland and a return to his native north-east despite being jeered by fans of the club for his Newcastle links during Tuesday’s match.
O’Neill has targeted the striker to take some of the goalscoring pressure off Steven Fletcher at the Stadium of Light.
Graham has been pushed down the Swans’ pecking order following the arrival of Michu last summer, who has made a huge impact at the club.
