Former Division one side Bidco United top custodian Adisa Zamu has finally joined Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Thika United.

The two clubs have been in talks since January and an agreement was reached allowing the player to start training with the Brooke side sponsored side.

“it’s a sigh of relief for me for acquiring Zamu having conceded very ‘stupid’ goals last season. This will bring competition in the goal-keeping department and it’s a battle for the number one jersey, thats healthy for the team," coach James Kamau told the club's official website.

“I have seen Zamu and he is a very focused and takes stock of himself after every session, the player as young as he is, his acts are quite mature and am confident with taking his development a notch higher and make him a candidate for the national team in two years.”

“Am also quite satisfied that all our targeted players are now with us, we have been getting a lot of requests from players wanting to join us and this shows growth and what remains now is winning silver-ware this season."
