Sofapaka set to complete signing of another Ugandan Julius Senoga ahead of 2013 league kick-off

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Sofapaka FC is set to beef its 2013 squad by landing the signature of another Ugandan forward - Julius Senoga.
 
Club President Elly Kalekwa confirmed that their prized target, is due to jet into the country on Friday from England where he had been on trials to finalise the deal.

"I can confirm to you that we are signing Julius (Senoga) on a two year deal. He is arriving today (Friday) to complete the big move," Kalekwa told Goal.com. Senoga joins two other Ugandan in Sofapaka's squad for 2013 season - Abdallah Nyanzi and William Sempembwa.

The Ugandan attacker has featured for Uganda Cranes in previous Cecafa tournaments. Kalekwa also revealed that his charges are prepared and ready to battle Tanzanian giants Azam FC in a friendly at the Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.

Azam arrived in the country on Thursday and have been booked at the Hainase Hotel in Ngara. The ice cream makers, who are coached by Stewart Hall, confront AFC Leopards at the same venue on Saturday.
