The Croatian tactician hints that he will consider resigning the former Tusker midfielder to fill the void left by Moses Odhiambo, who has joined paid ranks
Logarusic who arrives in the country on January 14 to join Gor Mahia’s preparation for the new season, says only two training sessions will be enough for him to make a decision on Olando.
"If he is good I am ready to give him a chance. I understand he is just coming from injury and that is why we need to assess him well," the coach told the club's official website.
"We need a good defensive cover in the midfield and if what I have heard about him is true, I can give him a chance.”
Olando has been training with Gor for the past week on invitation by the technical bench. Olando started his career with Gor Mahia before moving to Thika United and later to Tusker where he won the league title in 2011 and 2012.
Gor Mahia is looking for a player to fill the gap left by Moses "Dube" Odhiambo and Olando fits the bill. The player has expressed his desire to return to the club but whether or not he will be signed will depend on how the coach rates him.
