Gor Mahia finally acquire services of former KCB midfielder Paul Kiongera

Club secretary general George Bwana confirms that the acquisition of the player is in line with the recommendations of head coach Logarusic

Gor Mahia have continued with their strategy of bolstering the squad in a bid to land the ever elusive premiership trophy by acquiring signatures of two key players.

Long term target Paul Mungai Kiongera has finally joined the outfit after penning a one year deal to end speculations over his future.

Kiongera was prolific in the 2012 season for Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) emerging as the KPL player of the season runners up and was also instrumental for the Kenyan development side-the U - 23.

His arrival is expected to add more punch in K’ogalo's attack. Also joining the ’Green Army’ is immediate Kira Young FC defender Israel Emuge, who has penned a two year deal with the outfit.

Club secretary general George Bwana confirmed to Goal.com that the two signings are in line with  recommendations of head coach Zdravko Logarusic who is expected to join the team by January 15 for the pre-season training.

Elsewhere, promoted side Bandari FC have completed the signings of Alloyce Mangi formerly with Western Stima as well as former Sofapaka’s left back Abdulatif Omar.

Also joining the Dockers is Mohamed Dukuly from nationwide side Admiral Youth. The trio join other new signings Alibahi Mohamed (Thika United) and Wilson Oburu signed from Sony Sugar.
