Sony deny reports linking teenage striker Enock Agwanda to rivals Sofapaka FC
The sugar millers chairman reveals to Goal.com that Agwanda still has a contract until 2014 and dismissed reports that he has left the club
Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Sony Sugar insist they have not released teenage striker Enock Agwanda to join Sofapaka.Sony chairman Christopher Odero confirmed to Goal.com on Saturday that the player still has a contract until 2014 and dismissed recent reports that he has left the club.
"The contract we have with him runs until 2014 and reports that he has gone elsewhere are false. He cannot have a contract with two clubs because that would be double signing which is illegal."
The striker is likely to face sanctions if indeed he has two contracts.
