The Catalans currently sit in 18th place in the league and have only won away from home once this season, but their head coach does not believe this will worry his players.
"We will arrive there with no fear, all the players are looking forward to the game and have been revitalised by the winter break," Aguirre told reporters at a press conferance.
"We are hoping for a successful 2013, starting with a good result against Barcelona. I cannot promise anything because everyone knows how good they are, but it will be a real privilege to go to Camp Nou with my players."
Espanyol travel to Barcelona on Sunday in a match scheduled to kick-off at 19:00CET.
