The Azzurri boss has blasted the decisions of two Serie A sides to fire their trainers on Monday, and called for more patience and confidence in those in charge of the teams
On Monday, Siena replaced Serse Cosmi with Giuseppe Iachini while Sampdoria parted ways with Ciro Ferrara, much to the dismay and anger of the former Fiorentina trainer.
"I feel very sorry for Ciro,” the 55-year-old told reporters, adding: "He left the national team set-up receiving many compliments. And now he's been replaced.
"I thought that these bad habits [of sacking coaches] might have gone, but no, it's now the law of football. We need to see patience in this game," he concluded.
Prandelli noticeably coached seven different teams before taking his position of Italy national team trainer in 2010.
