Ranocchia & Samuel resume Inter training
Both centre-backs had been out of action for the past two weeks, but are ready to make their return after having returned to the training pitch
Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni has received some encouraging news from the treatment table ahead of this weekend's Serie A match at home against Cagliari as Andrea Ranocchia and Walter Samuel have resumed full training after a spell on the sidelines. The Italian defender suffered a calf strain around two weeks ago and consequently missed the games against Partizan Belgrade and Atalanta.
Nevertheless, Ranocchia is ready for competitive action once more after completing Thursday's training session without any noteworthy problems.
Samuel, meanwhile, had spent the past 10 days on the sidelines due to a groin problem, but has also been deemed fit again, and could make the match squad for Sunday's game.
The encounter at the Giuseppe Meazza is scheduled to kick off at 15:00CET.
