Cigarini backs Atalanta to spring Inter surprise
The midfielder believes that if his side put in a good performance they can end the Nerazzurri's winning run in Serie A
Luca Cigarini is confident Atalanta can spring a surprise and beat in-form Inter on Sunday.La Dea are currently ninth in Serie A and are big underdogs against Andrea Stramaccioni's side, with the Nerazzurri on a run of seven straight league victories heading into the contest.
But, Cigarini remains upbeat and believes his side can emerge victorious, if they put in a positive performance.
"We're both having a good time at the moment. But if we play like we know we can, then I think we'll come out with a good result," he told Eco di Bergamo.
“If we play like we did [in the 1-0 win] against Napoli this season, then we should be fine.
“We just need to carry on what we're doing because it would be a shame to break this good streak we're having."| Sign up today with Ladbrokes and get a $20 welcome bonus! |
