Bojan content with life at AC Milan despite goalscoring drought

Bojan content with life at AC Milan despite goalscoring drought

Latest Milan thought Messi would struggle in Serie A, reveals Van Bommel Previous

The former Barcelona forward is delighted with his first steps at the Rossoneri and has no regrets at his decision not to go to Euro 2008

AC Milan striker Bojan Krkic claims there is more to come from him and insists that the Italian club will turn their season around - despite making their worst league start in over 80 years.

The 22-year-old is yet to open his account for the Rossoneri, but assured fans that he and the rest of Massimiliano Allegri's side will improve.

"The experience in Milan has been very positive. The atmosphere is fantastic and my team-mates have welcomed me," he told Grada360.

"There are a lot of new players, but with a little patience we will move things forward."

Having broken into Barcelona's first team aged just 17, the Spaniard has already played over 200 games in La Liga and Serie A, but says he still has much room for improvement.

"I am only 22-years-old and sometimes people think I'm older and demand a lot from me," he added.

"But I am calm and showing that I have still a long way to improve and learn."

The striker is also confident that Milan will qualify from their Champions League group, an ambition that was boosted by a 3-2 win over Zenit St Petersburg in their last European clash.

"I think that we will advance. If we perform well, we will surely qualify," he stated.

The 22-year-old became the subject of national criticism when he withdrew from the Spain squad ahead of Euro 2008 and he revealed his frustration at the way the Spanish football federation (RFEF) handled the affair.

"I do not regret the decision I made. The federation knows perfectly well the reason that I did not go to the European Championship, but they did not broadcast it in the right way," he explained.

"How can a player of 17 years of age say no to going to the Euros? There was a justification that they knew."
