Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm has pulled out of the Netherlands squad to face Italy on Tuesday.
The former Utrecht shot-stopper has missed his side's last two matches against Sunderland and West Ham because of a persistent knee problem.
And after a fitness test, it has now been decided that the 29-year-old will continue his recovery in Wales rather than join up with the Oranje.
As yet Louis van Gaal has announced no plans to replace Vorm in his 19-man squad.
The friendly match between Netherlands and Italy will kick off at Amsterdam Arena on February 5, 20:30CET.
