Harambee Stars technical bench has been disbanded moments after the team failed to qualify to Group stages of 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

In a statement sent to media houses, Football Kenya Federation said it had given the bench all the necessary support but they had failed to deliver. Those affected are suspended head coach Adel Amrouche, technical director Jacob 'Ghost' Mulee and assistants Ken Odhiambo and James Nandwa.

The statement read in part, “Kenya FA President Sam Nyamweya has with immediate effect disbanded technical bench of national team Harambee Stars after defeat to Lesotho in Afcon 2015 qualifier.

“The federation has given technical bench all necessary support during qualifiers but they have failed to deliver. We shall inform Kenyans of new restructuring of entire technical bench soon.”

Harambee Stars were eliminated from the qualifiers after failing to beat Lesotho at Nyayo Stadium. Kenya needed to win by two goals but instead, settled to a scoreless draw with Lesotho going through on 1-0 aggregate.
