The ex-Gor Mahia striker, who joined MC Algiers, has waltzed into town to follow up on relevant paper work that will help secure Algerian work permit
Former Gor Mahia striker Edwin Lavatsa is in the country working on his work permit. The player joined Algerian top side MC Algiers two months ago but was yet to be issued with the document.
He is expected to fly out to Algeria over the weekend after obtaining necessary documentation that will pave way for him to receive the work permit.
"Lavatsa has been around for the last four days working on his documentation. He has been playing for the side using a temporary pass that has since expired hence the decision to come over and secure proper documentation," a source close to the player revealed to Goal.
He won Kenyan Premier League title with Gor Mahia last season but declined to renew his contract instead, opting to leave for the paid ranks.
