Mariga recalled for Sudan friendly

Kenyan coach Adel Amrouche has named squad to face Sudan in an international friendly in Khartoum recalling midfielder Macdonald Mariga

Kenyan coach Adel Amrouche has recalled Inter-Milan midfielder Macdonald Mariga for Wednesday’s international friendly match against Sudan in Khartoum.

Mariga is making a return to the team after a two year absence and is among eight foreign-based players called up for the match, which will be one of several to be played on the Fifa friendly day.

Other foreign-based players called up for the fixture are Johana Omollo (Lommel United), Francis Kahata (Albania), David 'Cheche' Ochieng' (Al-Taawon), Victor Mugubi Wanyama (Southampton), Ayub Timbe (Genk), Edwin Lavatsa (MC Alger) and Dennis Oliech (AC Ajaccio).

The full team has:Goalkeepers: Duncan Ochieng'  Wycliffe Kasaya.
Defenders: David Owino, Joackins Atudo, David Ochieng', James Situma, Sammy Meja, Musa Mohammed
Midfielders: Victor Wanyama, Macdonald Mariga, Anthony Akumu, Peter Opiyo, Johanna Omolo, Francis Kahata, Cliftone Miheso.
Strikers:  Ayub Timbe, Paul Were, Edwin Lavatsa, Dennis Oliech, Jacob Keli.
