AFC Leopards have set the stage for the sacking of Luc Eymael after appointing his assistant Nicholas Muyoti as stand in coach for Sunday league match against Nairobi City Stars at Nyayo Stadium.
The club announced on their official site that the Belgian tactician absconded duty for one week after sneaking out of the country without official leave.
In a statement released by Secretary General George Aladwa, the club said it will pursue disciplinary action against the coach by following the proper channels as regards his contract.
"We will then announce the way forward by Monday," said Aladwa's statement.
The action comes just a day after Eymael refused to train the team claiming that the training ground they were given is not up to standard.
Leopards therefor,e failed to train on Wednesday. Eymael has been away in Belgium since he gave the club a 48 hour ultimatum to put certain things in order or he quits.
Last week Leopards chairman Allan Kasavuli said they had met some of the demands by the coach and expressed optimism he will return. However, when he eventually did arrive on Wednesday morning he immediately rejected a training ground at Kabete.
