The club's officials have moved to fulfill one of their campaign pledges by setting up new office at Duplex Apartments on Upper Hill road
Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards’ have finally acquired a new office located in the outskirts of Nairobi town.
A statement in the club’s official website confirmed the new development. The statement read in part, “AFC Leopards’ leadership has put pen to paper to acquire official club offices at Duplex Apartments on Upper Hill road in Upper hill.
“The acquisition of the club’s physical address in such a respected address is a fulfillment of one of the club chairman Allan Kasavuli’s campaign pledges where he promised to ensure that the Nec sets up a credible secretariat to run the day to day affairs of the club.
“He (Kasavuli) made it possible today (Tuesday) by making personal donation in excess of Sh500, 000 to pay for three months rent and three months deposit to secure the spacious office until November 2013 when the club will take its obligation of meeting monthly rent payments.
“The premise has three spacious offices that include a board room for official meetings. It also has a large reception area, a visitors’ lounge, a store and a kitchen.”
The statement continued, “The chairman confirmed to the official website that the club will start transacting limited business in the new premises with immediate effect with full operations and official launch scheduled in due course after furnishing and branding.
“The office will house the Ag. CEO and soon to be hired staff to run the day to day affairs of the club.”
