AFC Leopards’ have moved to reassure their faithful that they will do everything beyond their means to keep Belgian coach Luc Eymael.
Club chairman Allan Kasavuli says they are impressed by the coach’s performance and will ensure that he (Eymael) sees through his contract at the den.
“The AFC Leopards’ top hierarchy is pleading to its expectant fan base to torn down the rhetoric and concentrate on Saturday match against Ulinzi Stars at Afraha Stadium, Nakuru.
“Coach Luc Eymael is intact in the club contrary to baseless rumours doing rounds about his uneasiness and we will do everything possible to have him stay.”
Kasavuli also confirmed that the players’ allowances have never been an issue in the recent past and have been catered for as usual-thus no need for alarm.
He said that the club is doing all within its ability to find a long lasting solution to the perennial training ground needs. He confirmed that his office is in constant consultation with the head coach with various credible options already on the card about a credible training ground for the team.
The statement comes after the Belgian skipped the team’s training session on Tuesday days after he had threatened to resign because they (team) had been neglected by the top brass.
