Division one side Modern Coast Rangers returned back from their Nairobi tour after playing two build up matches.
On Tuesday, Modern Coast Rangers electrocuted Nairobi Stima 2-1 at Stima club while on Wednesday they were hammered 5-1 by premiership side Gor Mahia at City Stadium.
Rangers Secretary Ferdinand Ogot termed the tour as a success because they managed to assess all their targeted new signings ahead of the second leg season.
“I am satisfied with the tour since it gave us an opportunity to gauge our transfer targets and hope we shall deliver come the second leg.”
Rangers completed the first leg in second position on Division One standing with 25 points, one point below joint leaders Moyas and Posta Rangers. The second leg of the lower tier league is scheduled to kick-off at the end of July.
