Logarusic wants to coach Ghana's Berekum Chelsea

Barely a week after being sacked by Gor Mahia, the Croat tactician has set his sights on landing the vacant job at the top side who failed to win the 2012/13 league

Former Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic has set his sights on landing the vacant job at Ghanaian top side Berekum Chelsea.

The Croat tactician, who was sacked by Gor Mahia last Tuesday after failing to report to work from holiday in his native country, has also been linked with Medeama Sporting, who are on the market looking for a competent coach.

“I want to return to the Ghana Premier League because it is one of the top football leagues in Africa. When I went to Kenya I excelled. I won the Super Cup there,” Logarusic told Ghana's Sunyani-based Suncity Radio.

Berekum Chelsea dissolved the entire technical bench after failing to win the 2012/13 Ghana Premier League title.

A confident Logarusic told Goal after his sacking that he had no regrets losing his job at one of Kenya’s top clubs in the premiership and 'I will have a new home soon.'

He said, “Some top officials within the club have been plotting my downfall and wanted me out the soonest possible.

“I know there were some elements within the management who have been sabotaging me and wanted me out. I want to believe now that they are happy because I have been sacked but I will soon have a good and big job."
