Tusker paid Sh100, 000 to Karuturi for Murunga while Gor Mahia parted with similar amount for the signature of striker Paul Odhiambo from Homeboyz
Former Karuturu Sports striker Andrew Murunga and Paul Odhiambo of Kakamega Homeboyz remain the most expensive signings so far after their new clubs paid Sh100, 000 each for their services.
Kenya league champions Tusker paid Sh100, 000 to Karuturi for the signature of Murunga while Gor Mahia parted with similar amount for striker Paul Odhiambo from Homeboyz.
Murunga and Odhiambo have both signed a two year contract with their respective clubs.
Murunga returns to a club that just less than one year ago released him for non-performance but he has managed to rebuild his career in Naivasha where he has scored six goals for the flower men.
Osca Wamalwa cost Ulinzi Stars Sh55, 000 to be acquired from Division One side Bidco while Muhoroni Youth parted with Sh36, 000 to get Jeremiah Wanjala from another lower tier side Agrochemicals.
Elsewhere, KPL has confirmed that former Karuturi striker Allan Otindo has found a new home at Homeboyz. Otindo was forced to move after the Naivasha-based side terminated his contract.
Tusker have also signed Omar Khamisi from Bandari for an undisclosed fee. Muhoroni Youth have acquired on loan Kennedy Oduor and Charles Ouma from Sofapaka.
