The bankers, who have now gone five matches without winning, have vowed to put things right when they host table toppers Thika United at City Stadium on Saturday
Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) head coach Abdallah Juma has challenged his charges to replicate the performance that saw them start seven games flawless in the league.
The bankers have now gone for five matches without winning and Juma has attributed this to the fact that they have played most of their matches away from home.
“We will be hosting Thika, a very tough team at home. We are yet to lose at home and I want to challenge my players to ensure that the trend continues.”
“We started well because most of our matches were played at home but we have had difficulties playing away from home," Juma told Goal.com.
“We want to keep up with the top teams and we need to get the three points against Thika United on Saturday. It will be a tough match because Thika have been in good form of late. However, we are motivated by the fact that winning will take us closer to the top.”
KCB are placed fifth on the log with 18 points, three behind leaders Thika United, who have a game in hand.
