Tusker captain Joseph Shikokoti fit to face Gor Mahia

The towering defender missed Saturday's match against Chemelil, which his side lost 2-1 at Nyayo Stadium but now says he has recovered to face K'Ogalo in Top 8
Tusker defender Joseph Shikokoti says he has shaken off a nagging knee injury and expects to be back when his side takes on Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Top 8 champions Gor Mahia on Wednesday.

Tusker won the first leg 1-0 and need to avoid defeat of any kind to go through to the final.

Shikokoti missed Saturday's match against Chemelil Sugar which his side lost 2-1 at Nyayo Stadium but insists he is now fit to be back and guide his team to victory.

"I am feeling better now and if the coach wishes he can use me for the Wednesday's  match," he told Goal.com.

He was greatly missed by the brewers', who struggled to contain Chemelil Sugar. The sugar millers eventually won the match 2-1 handing Tusker their second defeat in a row just a week after they had lost by a similar margin to Thika United.
