Situma, who previously has been linked to giants AFC Leopards and Tusker, reveals to Goal.com that he is ready to move on if a good opportunity presents itself
Sofapaka captain James Situma says he is ready to listen to any offers though he insists he is happy at the club.
Situma at the same time said the team is focused on clinching the 2013 premiership title.
“I have been in Sofapaka for the last eight years and this has been great years for me as a player. The team has become more like a home for me.”
“However, if any offers come and is agreeable to Sofapaka then I will take it. Football is my career and if a good opportunity presents itself then I cannot resist it,” Situma told Goal.com.
The player has previously been linked to AFC Leopards and Tusker FC. Regarding their title ambitions, Situma said Sofapaka remains committed to being crowned champions this season and have everything to do that.
“We have built a strong team that is a mixture of youth and experience. Moreover, we have started very well and are determined to keep it to the end.”
Batoto Ba Mungu made history in 2009 by winning the league title in their first year of top flight football.
