Days after winning his club's young player of the year Award, Victor Wanyama has added another cap to his list of accolades after making the Scottish Professional Football Association's (SPL) team of the season.
The Kenyan player has been included alongside four of Celtic's title winning squad as the vital cog in midfield in the team selected from votes by fellow SPL players.
Adam Matthews, Kelvin Wilson and Charlie Mulgrew are Wanyama's team mates, who have found their way into the team of the year. Motherwell have Darren Randolph, Shaun Hutchinson, Nicky Law and Michael Higdon.
The latest achievement will not only enhance the former Beerschort midfielders' chances of winning the league's young player of the year award, in a category he has also been shortlisted, but also boost his reputation whilst attracting interest from a host of European big clubs.
Wanyama played a vital role by netting six goals this season as Celtic wrapped up their 44th league title with five matches to spare. The Bhoys will be presented with the Scottish league trophy on May 11 after the match against St Johnstone at Celtic Park.
