The Coastal side have been boosted with news that captain Chrispin Odula and midfielder Ali Bhai have fully recovered and will be available for selectionKenya Premier League (KPL) newcomers Bandari have received a major boost in their injury concerns with the return of key players - captain Chrispin Odula and midfielder Ali Bhai.
The two, who have been out nursing various injuries, are expected to start training with the first team this week.
Bhai got a knock to his ankle two weeks ago in the barren draw with AFC Leopards while Chrispin Odula, had a recurring knee problem made worse in Bandari’s 2-1 defeat against Tusker.
“We missed the duo’s contribution in the last two matches but I am happy that they have worked their ways back. They are an integral part of the team. I expect them to start light training this week.”
‘Since we don’t have a league match this weekend, I presume they will be available for selection the coming weekend,” coach Twahir Muhiddin told Goal.com.
The Coach has also praised his team for taking down KCB at home on Sunday and was also happy that they kept a clean sheet.
“The boys played well and the defense improved tremendously since we did not concede. I want us to build on from that performance and probably increase our conversion rate because it has become the biggest headache.”
“We create at least three clear chances in each game but scoring has become a major problem.”
