KPL release dates for the knock out event with champions K'Ogalo taking on 2011 winners Ulinzi Stars next Wednesday in the second match of the competition

The Kenya Premier League secretariat has released the full fixtures of the Top 8 tournament whose draw was conducted last week.

Defending champions Gor Mahia will face off with 2011 winners Ulinzi Stars next Wednesday in the second match of the tournament.

This will be a perfect opportunity for Zdravko Logarusic and his boys to revenge for the 2-0 defeat inflicted on them by the soldiers' last week in a league match.

Thika United and Sofapaka will kick-off the tournament tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Nyayo National Stadium.

AFC Leopards who failed to feature in the competition last year, will launch their campaign against Chemelil Sugar on April 17th while Tusker FC take on Mathare United the following Wednesday (April 24).

The first round matches will be played on a knock out format. If the winner of the match will not be found in regulation time, then the match will head straight to penalties.

The semi-finals fixtures will be played on a home and away basis with the Winners of Match one taking on winner of match two while winners of match three will take on match four winners.

The winner of the tournament walks home with Sh 1 million in prize money.
