The flower men's tactician was spotted with Jan Koops on Sunday in Naivasha seeking the counsel of the veteran tactician on how to stop AFC Leopards

Ahead of Sunday's  Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match against troubled AFC Leopards, Karuturi Sports are not taking any chances to ensure they pick their first win of the season.

Karuturi coach Michael Nam was on Sunday spotted with former AFC Leopards coach Jan Koops in Naivasha seeking the counsel of the veteran tactician on how to stop Leopards.

Nam confirmed the meeting took place but declined to reveal what was discussed only insisting that his side is determined to get something positive out of the match.

"Football has become very technical and tactical and one has to use every advantage at their disposal. Koops is my friend and there is nothing wrong with our meeting because he handled our opponents and understands them well," he told Goal.com.

Turning to the match, Nam admitted that his side is still inexperienced and will need to raise their game against Leopards in a match he says can go either way.

"Leopards are an experienced side and last season, they finished ahead of us by many miles. We are just beginning to rebuild our team and all we can hope for is a positive result so that the boys can have some level of confidence going forward."

Like Leopards, Karuturi are yet to win after they were stopped 3-1 by new comers Homeboyz on the opening day of the season.
