Kenya Premier League (KPL) AFC Leopards have launched a nationwide registration drive of the club's fan base.

The popular club officially kick started the exercise at a well attended meeting held at a Nairobi hotel on Wednesday evening that involved 22 branches and a section of club officials including treasurer Remmy Mudi and Deputy Secretary General Emmanuel Mketu.

"We are happy to have launched this important exercise. It is important for the club to have records of its supporters."

"The two Membership Categories at the Club are Annual and Life. For Annual Membership, the members pay a sum of Sh1,000 whilst for Life Membership the members pay a sum of Sh30,000. An extra application fee of Sh200 is levied on those who are not on the 2012 Membership Register," revealed Mketu to Goal.com.

The Club has opened a Bank Account specially for membership and members will pay their subscriptions into the account or remit the same by Paybill. The details of the Account Numbers and Paybill are on the Club’s official website afcleopards.net.

Mketu also assured the supporters that the recruitment drive will be conducted differently compared to the past exercises where money realized from such events was unaccounted for.

The meeting was also attended by AFC Leopards' facebook fans branch Chairman Suleiman Angulu.
