Muhoroni Youth bags sponsorship deal ahead of 2013 Kenya league season

As exclusively reported by Goal.com, the club will benefit from a Sh3million annual sponsorship package from Muhoroni Sugar Company signed on Sunday

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Muhoroni Youth have acquired a shirt sponsor for the 2013 season.

The club will benefit from a Sh3million annual sponsorship deal from Muhoroni Sugar Company.

This will allow the club to use the company's logo on their shirts this season. Muhoroni Youth chairman Moses Adagala said they are expecting more money from the company as negotiations have not been fully concluded.

"So far we have received Sh3million for shirt sponsorship but we expect more money since negotiations have not been concluded. We presented to them a budget of Sh18million and we are not sure of what will be approved," he told Goal.com.

Adagala said the money will play a big role in helping the club to put up a great performance this season and called on more well-wishers to support them.

Last week Goal.com reported exclusively that the team had acquired a sponsor for this season.

The team is also in trouble with the KPL for failing to submit the list of players on time something that could lock them out of the top league.
