thumbnail Hello,

The club was kicked out of the venue at the end of last season following a dispute between the owners of the club and a private hotel but the issue has now been resolved

Karuturi Sports will play this season's Kenyan Premier League (KPL) matches at their usual home ground commonly referred to as 'Old Trafford.'

The club was kicked out of the venue at the end of last season following a dispute between the owners of the club and a private hotel.

The matter was even subject of a court case and it meant Karuturi could not play their matches at the venue and were forced to push them to Oserian Stadium.

On Wednesday, Karuturi coach Michael Nam confirmed that the matter has been resolved and they are glad to return back to 'Old Trafford'.

"The two parties in the dispute have resolved to end the disagreement allowing us to return back to our usual training ground. I am very happy that we can return home where we are used to," Nam told Goal.com.

Nam at the same time said he will not be under pressure to finish in the top positions pointing out that his focus at the moment is to rebuild a team that can fight for the title in three years time.

"We have had many challenges during the recruitment process due to a low budget which forced us to go for unknown players. However, I am happy with their progress because most of them have shown a deep hunger for success. I will however, not push them for results because we are in the rebuilding process."

"This is a team that can realistically fight for the title in three years time because they will have matured and ready for the demands of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL)."

The club finished in 12th position last season and the coach is eying an improvement on the same. "As much as we are rebuilding the team, our target is to improve to at least 8th position and fight for something in the coming season."

Nam recently returned to the country after attending a coaching course in Wales and believes his increased knowledge can only be good for the club.
