Kenya Premier League (KPL) side AFC Leopards striker Allan Wanga has tipped new coach Tom Olaba to succeed at the club.
Wanga has heaped praises on the former national Under-17 coach as a man who will finally lead the club to glory land.
"He certainly understands what needs to be done. He has been a very positive influence in the dressing room and all the players like and respect him. He has made us hungry to play football and given us the confidence that we can win the league," Wanga told Goal.com.
"We are all motivated to do well this season and we are promising our fans great success," he said.
Wanga further pointed out that the new coach has brought in a new style of play which makes it possible for the players to bring out their best on the pitch.
"There is a semblance of self belief in the team that was not there because we all feel like our best is coming out."
Olaba was confirmed as head coach of the club last week after they failed to sign a foreign coach.
While announcing Olaba's confirmation, Leopards chairman Alex Magelo said they have faith in the coach and believe he can lead them to the title this season.
Leopards narrowly missed out on the 2012 title last season after coming so close. Disappointed by the lack of silver ware, the club sacked eleven players and the entire technical bench led by former head coach Jan Koops.
