Former Harambee Stars captain Pascal Ochieng is glad to be back home to rejoin his former club Division One side Rangers.
Ochieng who was formerly at Tanzanian club Simba, said he was forced to terminate his contract due to issues beyond his control but does not regret his decision to cross the border.
“I was not getting time to play mostly due to petty jealousy in the team and when I could not take it anymore, we parted ways with Simba by mutual consent," Ochieng' told Goal.com.
"I returned to Rangers because here I can get to pick up my form without being under a lot of pressure and then maybe after six months I can get another club if need be."
He also revealed his desire to return back to the national team insisting he still has plenty to offer the country. “The possibility of playing for Stars is still there. Nothing is impossible and I am sure that with hard work and perseverance, I will regain my former form and hopefully the selectors can see it and give me another chance to play for the national team."
Before joining Simba, the player was at AFC Leopards. He has played for different Kenyan Premier League (KPL) sides among them Mathare United and KCB.
