Reliable reports reveal that the 20 year-old has yet to contact stand in coach Nandwa of his travel plans to North Africa, less than 48 hrs to the tie

Belgium-based forward Ayub Timbe could miss out on Harambee Stars warm up match against Libya on Wednesday.

Reliable reports reveal that the 20 year-old has yet to contact stand in coach James Nandwa of his travel plans to North Africa, less than 48 hours to the match.

"The federation sent Timbe a ticket, we have checked and he hasn't confirmed his travel date, the coach is concerned as he is finalizing his match programming. It is looking likely that the team will have to do the job without him," a reliable source told Goal.com.

Elsewhere, the team consisting of local based players and Tanzanian-based professionals arrived safely in Tunis, ahead of the duel. Head of Delegation Hussein Terry confirmed that captain Dennis Oliech had linked up with the team on Monday while David Gateri and Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama are expected in Tunis on Tuesday morning.

"The team has had two training sessions and barring cold weather everything went really well. We will have two sessions as a full team before we take to the pitch," he said. Terry expressed concern that the cold weather may affect the team but revealed that efforts are being made to ensure as little disruption as possible.

Nandwa will be using this match to step up their preparations ahead of the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria in March. Wednesday's friendly is being played in Tunis due to insecurity in Tripoli after the revolution that removed Muamar Gadaffi.
