Wanga headed home from an Idrissa Rajab cross after good play with Edwin Wafula. The goal seemed to have been woken up by the goal and put pressure on their opponents.
Jesse Were missed a sitter two minutes later after being put through by Ismael Dunga. The Leopards defense was always struggling and in trouble. In the 35th minute, Dunga was brought down and the referee pointed to the penalty spot.
Dunga stepped up to score from the penalty spot and restored parity. Michael Olunga then scored the winner in the 80th minute to ensure the brewers carried the victory.
In another match, Sony Sugar edged out Division One side Agrochemicals 2-1 at Awendo Green Stadium.
Despite both sides going all out for goals, there were none in the first half. Francis Ouma hit the woodwork in the 34th minute as Sony kept the pressure on the visitors.
Hezron Kamau also came also close to score for the division one side in the 50th minute when he nearly beat Wycliff Kasaya with a low ground shot.
The second half was a different ball game as the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side kept the pressure on the visitors.
David Nyanzi opened the scores in the 54th minute to break the deadlock. Five minutes later, Hezron Kamau equalized for Agrochemicals as they stomped back into the match. Nyanzi made it 2-1 for Sony in the 69th minute to ensure the sugar millers carried the win.
