Kenya midfielder Macdonald Mariga goes straight into Parma’s starting eleven away to Fiorentina after he was unveiled on Friday.
Mariga, completed a loan switch to Parma from Inter Milan on transfer deadline day. Parma CEO Pietro Leonardi was elated after securing the services of the Kenyan star.
“We are happy to have Mariga back. He returns ‘home’ for another loan spell and I have strong believe that he will do better.”
“We replaced Zaccardo with Coda, Musacci and Acquah with Strasser and Mariga, and without letting go someone we took Mesbah. I am satisfied”.
This is the third time that the Kenyan has been loaned to Parma, the first time being in 2007 and later in 2012, after an unsuccessful stint in the Spanish la Liga.
