The duo jetted out of the country for trials with the moneyed outfit last week and impressed but could not reach an agreement over their wage demands.
Club vice chairman Walter Onyino revealed to Goal.com that Al-Nasr was keen on signing the players on free transfers yet the duo were still contracted to Leopards.
“I got a message from Wanga (Allan) on Tuesday night confirming that what the club is offering them is very minimal. They feel they are better off here at home. The club also wanted to have them contracted for only two and half months because the Oman league is in mid-season.’’
“Al-Nasr) is not looking to buy, but want players who are out of contract… unfortunately for them the two are still contracted to us.”
Onyino added that they expect the duo to return on Wednesday and confirmed that they had been handed a one week off before joining the rest in training ahead of 2013 season kick-off on February 16.
Meanwhile, the clubs members are expected to gather at the Nyayo Stadium on Saturday to ratify the changes made to the club’s constitution.
Onyino revealed that the draft work is complete and they only await the nod of the members to have the changes effected. On the same day the club will play a friendly match against Kariobangi Sharks at the same venue.
