The offensive winger, who joined the Brooke side sponsored side at a tender age of twelve, is set to undergo trials at top league side Supersport Utd

Kenya and Thika United offensive winger Clifton Miheso left the country on Tuesday to attend trials with South Africa's top Premiershiep club Supersport United.

Miheso, who joined the Brooke side sponsored side at a tender age of twelve, has been on the radar of the South African outfit for quite a while.

“Am very happy for Miheso, I’ve seen him grow and develop into the player that you now see and am glad to have played part in his development.-my prayer is that he makes it out there, I believe he can.” Thika United coach James Kamau told the club's official website on Miheso’s departure.

Miheso netted four times in the 2012 season as Thika United battled to a fifth place behind champions Tusker, Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards and 2009 champions Sofapaka.

Miheso was first drafted into the national team, Harambee Stars by coach Francis Kimanzi where he was given his debut against Malawi in a World Cup qualifier.

He was part of Harambee Stars squad that finished second in the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup last December after going down 1-2 to Uganda Cranes in the final.
