According to the club's official website, assistant organizing secretary Ronald Ngala said Sony Sugar had earlier written to the club requesting for a pre-season build up match, but the decision to grant the same entirely rested on the technical bench headed by Logarusic.
“We had received a formal request from Sony but as the executive we had to let our technical bench make the decision. The Coach is now back and he has granted the go ahead thus the friendly match is now confirmed.”
Coach Logarusic has reportedly set a 14 day training programme that culminates with the friendly match against the sugar millers.
