They are following in the footsteps of 21 Celtic supporters who travelled there in 2011 to help out in the Nakuru region of Kenya.
Celtic FC is the home of Kenya midfielder Victor Wanyama. And all of the volunteers proudly wore the green and white Hoops as they headed out on this important trip.
Celtic Charity manager Jane Maguire: “Our aims will be similar to last year, so one of our objectives will be to make a difference on the ground. For example, one of the schools has already said they need a new toilet built, so the plumber who is coming with us has been placed at that school.
“Together with the other volunteers we will be able to make a lasting impact on the areas. Hopefully we will make an impact on the children as well, giving them some love and attention. And along with all of this we will also be making a financial impact as well,” Maguire told the club’s official website.
"Our target is £18,880 again and if we are giving half of that to Kibera Celtic that will make a monumental difference.”
