K'ogalo secretary general George Bwana reveals to Goal.com that coach Logarusic has supported the move hence the decision to sign him up

Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Gor Mahia are set to complete the signing of former Mathare United forward Innocent Mutiso on Monday.

Gor Mahia secretary general George Bwana confirmed to Goal.com that the player will sign a two year deal before close of business.

“We are going to sign Mutiso from Mathare before the end of today (Monday). He has been training with the team for a while now and everything has been completed and coach Zradvko Logarusic has already supported the move.”

Mutiso joins a long list of players who have already parted ways with the former league champions. Others players, who have quit Mathare for greener pastures include striker Francis Ouma, who has since joined Sony Sugar, Andrew Tololwa and Jesse Were (Tusker), Anthony Kimani and Martin Musalia (AFC Leopards).

Meanwhile, another former Mathare United player Elvis Nandwa has completed his move to 2010 champions Ulinzi Stars.

Nandwa, who has been training with the army men since last Thursday, has officially been released by the 'slum boy'.

“We have officially gotten his release letter from Mathare and that gives us the green-light to sign him. We will finalize the finer details of the contract with him but most likely we are going to have him on a two-year contract,” Chairman Lt. Col. JS Mwinyikai told the club's official website.
