thumbnail Hello,

Logarusic's future with K'ogalo has been - and still is - subject to speculation as the coach is yet to pen a contract extension to his current deal

Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic and Brazilian midfielder Giovanni Rodriguez attended the team's intensive training session at the City Stadium on Monday.

The duo arrived in the country on Sunday, with the coach jetting in from his Europe base where he was on holiday, while the Brazilian play maker - who is the first South American player to sign for a Kenyan Premier League club  - arriving from his home country. However, the Brazilian did not train.

Logarusic's future with the Fkf champions has been - and still is - subject to speculation as the Croatian coach is yet to officially pen a contract extension to his current deal at the popular club that expires in March.

"I am happy with this team's conditioning, it seems the preparations over the past week have been ideal. I thank the management for signing some of the players I requested. Its too early to talk about targets as we are still in preparation mood. But the main objective for us is that we enter every competition to win," Logarusic told Goal.com.

"I believe their is an appropriate way to discuss this (contract issue), as and when everything is agreed, we will let you know."

Logarusic believes that his boys can perform better in the 2013 season if they can best exploit the weaknesses of their opponents.

“I hope we are going to have a great season. Every man has a weak point. The secret of subduing your opponent in any contest is to discover his weakest point and hit it hard. With that you are always sure of victory.”

Gor Mahia are in line to compete in five competition this season. They include the Kenyan Premier League, DSTV Super Cup (against league champions Tusker FC), KPL Top Eight tournament, Fkf Cup and Confederations Cup.
