The former Mathare United striker insists the brewers' are the favorites to lift the trophy as they prepare to face Miembeni in semi-finals on Thursday

Kenyan international and Tusker FC forward Andrew Tololwa reveals the league champions have set their sights on clinching the ongoing Mapinduzi Cup tournament in Zanzibar.

Tusker are favorites to win the competition following an unbeaten start that includes wins against host sides Jamuhuri and Bandari plus a draw with Tanzanian side Simba SC in the Group stage. This results have earned Robert Matano's charges a semi-final date against another host team, Miembeni SC on Thursday.

Simba SC will square off against Cecafa club finalists Azam FC in an all Tanzanian affair in the other last four encounter on Wednesday. The winners of this tournament will pocket close to Sh1 million in prize money.

"I believe we can go all the way (and win this tournament). Their is quality opposition awaiting us but we are sure of ourselves after preparing adequately and we're seeking to carry the pre season form into the 2013 campaign," Tololwa told Goal.com.

Tololwa added that he made the right choice by joining Tusker after ditching childhood club Mathare United during the close season.

The pacy forward dazzled a majority of the Kenyan league spectators with impressive displays in what was his first full campaign in the top flight last term.

This not only earned him a call up to the provisional Harambee Stars squad ahead of the friendly with South Africa under former coach Henri Michel, but also attracted the interest of several high profile sides for his services and the defending champions moved in quickly to sign him from the 2008 champions.

"I am happy and contended. From all aspects this move is a step in the right direction. Tusker are the league champions, and we will be participating in the regional and continental assignments this season."

"Besides, we have a good and experienced coach (Robert Matano) who will improve my game. I cant ask for more."
