Kenya FA confirms suspension of South Coast branch secretary Evans Mwachia

President Nyamweya says in a signed statement that they had accepted decision taken by clubs and confirmed Mehsen Saleh on acting capacity
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has confirmed the suspension of South Coast branch secretary general Evans Mwachia after he was kicked out by clubs.

Kenya FA President Sam Nyamweya said in a signed statement that the federation had received suspension resolution of Mwachia as initiated by his own branch, sub-branches and clubs.

“The federation has accepted the same and advises that Mehsen Saleh be acting secretary until all other formalities are finalized,” said Nyamweya.

He added: “The branch is further advised that failure to adhere to the national office directives will always attract serious sanctions.”

The suspension of Mwachia follows earlier suspensions meted on two other Coast officials; South Coast branch chairman Hamis Mwayoyo and Asha Pili (women representative South Coast branch).

Mwayoyo was accused of organising tournaments contrary to the National Executive Committee (Nec) resolutions that tournaments be held at the end of all the leagues while Pili was accused of soliciting for sponsorship using branch letter heads without the authority of the branch officials, which is tantamount to forgery and impersonation.
